Recap: Terra Ceia Christian Knights vs. Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners

The Terra Ceia Christian Knights entered their tilt with the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Terra Ceia Christian came out on top against Pamlico Christian Academy by a score of 58-46 on Tuesday. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 16 to 9 on the offensive boards, as Terra Ceia Christian did.

Terra Ceia Christian found their leader in underclassman Ryan Ange, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Ange is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dustin Carrow, who scored nine points.

Despite the loss, Pamlico Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Max Cruz scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cruz has scored all season. James Howard was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.

Terra Ceia Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Terra Ceia Christian will head out on the road to take on Mount Calvary Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. Pamlico Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Washington Montessori at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
