Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove lost against Fairfield last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Oak Grove Tigers were dealt a 105-25 defeat at the hands of the Fairfield Tigers. While losing is never fun, Oak Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while Fairfield is ranked 11th).

Kyler Pollistrini was Oak Grove's leading scorer, having posted seven points.

Oak Grove has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-24-1 record this season. As for Fairfield, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-4.

As of now, neither Oak Grove nor Fairfield have any future games scheduled.
