She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makenna Dunbar, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and four runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ayla Faulkner, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Looking ahead, Cuba-Rushford will venture away from home to face off against Andover at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wellsville, they will welcome Hornell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
