Volleyball Recap: Gibbs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gibbs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Anderson County Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Gibbs was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Emerie Bullock was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in August.

Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Anderson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Gibbs nor Anderson County have any future games scheduled.
