While Kuna's win against Boise wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Kavemen narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Brave 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Kavemen have posted since March 21st.

Rylee Mangum spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Kuna saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elle Wemhoff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Amber Harwood, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Kuna was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive games.

Kuna is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Boise, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Kuna will head out on the road to take on Eagle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Kavemen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boise, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocky Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Brave are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
