Volleyball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Algonac lost against Yale back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Muskrats lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

Algonac took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-23.

Leading Yale to victory were Olivia Runnals and Hailie Johnson. Runnals had seven digs and three aces, while Johnson had 11 digs and ten assists. What's more, Runnals posted two assists, the most she's had over her last five matches.

Algonac's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for Yale, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Algonac will square off against rival Armada at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Yale is set to challenge their familiar foe North Branch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
