Granville and Johnstown-Monroe are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Granville Blue Aces just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Johnstown-Monroe entered their tilt with Lakewood on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged the Lancers out 53-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Johnnies have posted since February 8, 2024.

Granville's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Johnstown-Monroe, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Granville beat Johnstown-Monroe 55-43 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Granville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
