Volleyball Recap: Gulf Coast H Comes Up Short

Gulf Coast H was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverview Academy of Math and Science Barracudas.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 23-25, 25-10, 25-19.

Adam Rummings paced Gulf Coast H's offense, picking up ten kills. Rummings got some help from Aaron Light and his 11 assists. Rummings was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Gulf Coast H's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Riverview Academy of Math and Science, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Gulf Coast H nor Riverview Academy of Math and Science have any future games scheduled.
