Colleton County never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Battery Creek on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dolphins an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Cougars have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Colleton County's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Battery Creek, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Colleton County will head out to take on Goose Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 12.6 runs per game this season. As for Battery Creek, they will take on North Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Dolphins' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
