Softball Recap: Marion County Red Raiders vs. Hackleburg Panthers
Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Hackleburg Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Marion County of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
For Hackleburg's part, Carson Browning was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Saylor Cooper, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
