Baseball Recap: Sleepy Hollow Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Port Chester, Sleepy Hollow was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Gorton Wolves get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Horsemen haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Sleepy Hollow pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Gorton, they now have a losing record of 4-5-2.

Looking ahead, Gorton is taking a road trip to square off against Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sleepy Hollow will be paying especially close attention to the Wolves' game: after the Wolves face off against the Raiders, they'll take on Sleepy Hollow again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
