Softball Recap: Quitman Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Quitman fell 8-5 to White Hall. Quitman was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced White Hall earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for White Hall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Quitman is taking a road trip to take on Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Quitman 3.4, Clinton 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for White Hall, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on April 1.
