Basketball Recap: Hopewell-Loudon Comes Up Short

Hopewell-Loudon was the 46-44 winner over Mohawk when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains lost to the Mohawk Warriors at home by a 42-28 margin on Monday. The loss was the Chieftains' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hopewell-Loudon fell to 2-1. As for Mohawk, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopewell-Loudon will head out to take on Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mohawk, they will head out on the road to face off against Upper Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
