Bangs lost to Goldthwaite back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Dragons walked away with a 5-2 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Bangs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Edmisten, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Andrew Fagan also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Bangs' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Goldthwaite, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Bangs will venture away from home to square off against Coleman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Dragons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Goldthwaite, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Mason on the 13th.
