Football Recap: Gloucester Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gloucester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Smithfield Packers. Considering the last time the Dukes couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Gloucester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Smithfield, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Gloucester will face off against Warhill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Smithfield, they will challenge Poquoson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Islanders' defense has only allowed 10.1 points per game this season, so the Packers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
