Volleyball Recap: St. James Wildcats vs. Houma Christian Warriors
If St. James was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of East St. John on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Houma Christian Warriors on Wednesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
St. James took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-14, 25-21.
Houma Christian was led to victory by Emma Boudreaux and Riley Folse. Boudreaux had 15 assists and five digs, while Folse had four aces and three digs. Boudreaux is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
