Soccer Game Preview: Warwick vs. Denbigh

Warwick has gone 8-2 against Denbigh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Raiders will head out to face off against the Patriots at 5:30 p.m.

Warwick fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Woodside on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1. Warwick's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Denbigh fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Hampton. Three seems to be a good number for Denbigh as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Denbigh, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8-2.

Warwick got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Denbigh by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
