Crossan was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.

Crossan's effort led Shelton over Black Hills and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Highclimbers are 8-1 against the Wolves going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
