League recap: High Point Prep Academy scores huge upset over Faustina Academy

TCAF District 2 (6 Man) recap October 29, 2013

The biggest upset of the week belonged to High Point Prep Academy, who took down 119th ranked Faustina Academy, 80-50.

Dallas Academy took down Central Park Christian Academy 36-2 last week, the largest margin of any game. Josh Hoskins ran for 140 yards in the win.

Zach Sipe threw for 341 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 20-40 with 1 interception.

Ross Killian was the best receiver in TCAF District 2 (6 Man) this week as the Falcons lost to the Eagles. Killian tallied 5 receptions for 120 yards. Nick Cook helped Faustina Academy's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 116 yards.

Faustina Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sipe has thrown for 2,346 yards and 34 touchdowns this season, while J P Rodriguez has 41 catches for 581 yards. Sipe also leads the league in rushing with 875 yards.

The Bulldogs are in first place, while High Point Prep Academy is in third place.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Dallas Academy takes on Mike Lum's team. Jeremy Civello's team has allowed 281 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 298. The Bulldogs allowed 2 points last week as they defeated the Lions.

High Point Prep Academy led the league in scoring this week by notching 80 points on Faustina Academy.
