Volleyball Recap: Indio Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Shadow Hills on Tuesday, Indio came back down to earth. The Rajahs fell 3-1 to the Hemet Bulldogs on Thursday. The Rajahs have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Indio started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Indio still got an impressive performance from Anitzi Zarco, who had 34 digs and four aces. Zarco is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season.

Indio's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Hemet, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Indio will head out to square off against Brawley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hemet, they will challenge Orange Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
