Football Recap: Bluff Dale Skates Past Brookesmith with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bluff Dale). They blew past the Brookesmith Mustangs, posting a 69-6 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 69-6.

Bluff Dale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Wentworth, who rushed for 104 yards and three scores on only five carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Wentworth a new career-high. Alex Saucedo was another key player, gaining 82 total yards and four touchdowns.

The victory (which was Bluff Dale's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Brookesmith, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Bluff Dale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 60-19 victory against Grace Classical Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Brookesmith, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 54-44 win against Olfen on the 3rd.
