Suwannee is a perfect 5-0 against Baker County since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Suwannee Bulldogs will welcome the Baker County Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Neither Suwannee nor Baker County posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Suwannee's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when Bradford offense got past them. Suwannee was beaten by Bradford 34-0 on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Baker County and Fernandina Beach were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but Baker County suffered a 13-12 loss. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one point.

Suwannee will have to contain Emma Goff as she made an impact in Baker County's last game. She rushed for 32 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 92 yards and one touchdown.

Suwannee moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for Baker County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Suwannee took their victory against Baker County when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 26-2. Will Suwannee repeat their success, or does Baker County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
