Baseball Recap: Community's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Community's victory against Pilot Grove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans skirted past the Tigers 16-15. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Community pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Pilot Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community will challenge Mark Twain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pilot Grove, they will take on Westran at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
