Basketball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

The Highlands Bluebirds lost to the Franklin Admirals on the road by a 44-26 margin on Saturday. The matchup marked the Bluebirds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Franklin, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Highlands and Lambert will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bluebirds will be up against the Longhorns' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.82 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Franklin, they will square off against Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
