Baseball Recap: Foothill Snags Ninth Win in Last 12 Games

Foothill was forced to take a big defeat against they on Wednesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Arbor View Aggies as they made off with an 11-4 victory. The Falcons not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 12-0).

Foothill got a big performance out of Matthew Szymarek, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Steven Alvarado, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Foothill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Foothill has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-1 record this season. As for Arbor View, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.

Coincidentally, Foothill and Arbor View will both be playing Coronado the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Aggies will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
