Baseball Game Preview: Lancaster Legends vs. Clarence Red Devils

For the second straight game, Lancaster will face off against Clarence. The Legends will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lancaster is returning to their home field after beating Clarence on theirs, despite the fact Clarence has dominated at home this season. The Legends walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Red Devils on Monday. The game was the first time the Legends have beaten the Red Devils on their field since May 15, 2023.

Lancaster got a great performance from Ryan Szychowski as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Jacob Bencic was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brady Majchrowicz, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lancaster has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clarence, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
