Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Mountain Beats the Classical Academy for Their Second Straight Win

Cheyenne Mountain won the last time they faced The Classical Academy and Brynn Ressler did her part to make sure it happened again. The Red-Tailed Hawks blew past the Titans 3-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Ressler, who had 12 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-15, 26-24.

The victory made it two in a row for Cheyenne Mountain and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for The Classical Academy, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.

Coincidentally, Cheyenne Mountain and The Classical Academy will both be playing Pueblo County the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Hornets at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Red-Tailed Hawks will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
