Northern Valley piles up the points against Triplains/Brewster

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alma, the Northern Valley Huskies were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Triplains/Brewster 60-28 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-9.

Leading Northern Valley to victory were Audrey Bina and Austyn Cox. Bina dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 24 rebounds, and 12 blocks, while Cox scored 23 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cox has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Cox, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Triplains/Brewster's loss came despite strong showings from Trista Latham and Kara Roulier. Latham scored six points along with ten rebounds, while Roulier scored four points along with nine rebounds.

Northern Valley pushed their record up to 7-10 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
