St. John entered their tilt with Broadmoor on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Broadmoor Buccaneers a 16-0 shutout. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

The win got St. John back to even at 3-3. As for Broadmoor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.
