Volleyball Recap: Fossil Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

Fossil Ridge had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Poudre Impalas 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fossil Ridge took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-10.

Fossil Ridge was led to victory by Sarah Reinhart and Shanin Pottle. Reinhart had 29 assists and four digs, while Pottle had eight digs and three aces. Reinhart is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Fossil Ridge was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Poudre only served two.

Fossil Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Poudre, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.
