Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Eads Eagles

There's no place like home for Cheyenne Wells, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Eads Eagles out 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Cheyenne Wells took Eads into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 18-25, 20-25, 15-11.

Kenzie Brossman was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Chamille Giron, who had ten digs.

Cheyenne Wells was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eads only served three.

Cheyenne Wells' win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Eads, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers dukes it out withGranada at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eads has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Prairie on the 12th.
