Basketball Game Preview: Bishop O'Dowd Dragons vs. Bishop Gorman Gaels + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons will jump right back in to play the Bishop Gorman Gaels at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Bishop Gorman will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Bishop O'Dowd extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Dragons strolled past Bishop Manogue with points to spare, taking the game 79-60. The Dragons pushed the score to 66-43 by the end of the third, a deficit the Miners cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Bishop Gorman earned a 68-55 victory over Jesuit on Friday. The Gaels haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Bishop O'Dowd's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bishop Gorman, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Bishop O'Dowd lost to Bishop Gorman on the road by a decisive 76-57 margin in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
