Richland hadn't done well against Forest Hills recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Rams skirted past the Rangers 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.

Addison Hirsch paced Richland's offense, picking up ten kills. Hirsch got some help from Brooklyn Roberts and her 18 assists. Kiya Wise controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Forest Hills' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiera Smith, who had 21 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Gdula, who had ten digs and three aces.

Richland's record now sits at 5-0-1. As for Forest Hills, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.

Richland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Somerset on the 23rd. Hopefully Forest Hills paid attention to the Rams' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
