Minuteman Regional came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-16.

Amanda Vieira paced Minuteman Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Vieira got some help from Lily Buono and her nine assists. Vieira was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Minuteman Regional's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Minuteman Regional will venture away from home to take on Bartlett at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, they will head out to challenge Nashoba Valley Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
