SirMister Harriel leads a balanced attack to beat Yuba City

Recap: Antelope Titans vs. Yuba City Honkers

The Antelope Titans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 77-54 margin over Yuba City. Given Antelope's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Yuba City is ranked 660th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Antelope to victory, but perhaps none more so than SirMister Harriel, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The match was Harriel's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Mitchell, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.

Several Honkers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alex Saavedra, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Abhi Mehata, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Yuba City were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Antelope only racked up 23 assists.

Antelope's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Yuba City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Antelope will head out on the road to face off against Grant at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Yuba City, they will be playing at home against Inderkum at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inderkum has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 266 points over their last three contests.
