Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Presley Worthington and Miyah Lish Lead Syracuse to Victory

Syracuse won the last time they faced Davis and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans blew past the Darts 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Syracuse's got stronger as the match went on, holding Davis to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 25-17.

Syracuse was led to victory by Miyah Lish and Presley Worthington. Lish had 31 assists and four digs, while Worthington had 14 digs and three aces. Lish has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 31 times she's played. Maddie Wheeler also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Syracuse was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Davis only served two.

Syracuse's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Davis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Syracuse and Riverton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Davis, they will square off against Lone Peak at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
