Soccer Game Preview: Benbrook vs. Joshua

The Benbrook Bobcats will challenge the Joshua Owls at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Benbrook's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wylie on Saturday.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Joshua was not quite Mansfield Legacy's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Joshua came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Mansfield Legacy are ranked 224th).

Benbrook's loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Joshua, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
