Basketball Recap: Asheville T Takes a Loss

Asheville T came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by Bob Jones Academy 68-32. The Trailblazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bob Jones Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Asheville T lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Andrew Long, who posted seven points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Covington, who scored nine points.

Asheville T's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Asheville T didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-24 defeat against Spartanburg Christian Academy on the 15th. As for Bob Jones Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 72-36 win against Upstate HomeSchool on the 15th.
