If Chapman wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Clinton, they should've done a better job of containing Javen Cook. The Red Devils managed a 40-34 win over the Panthers on Friday with plenty of help from Cook, who rushed for 215 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.5 rushing yards per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Glenn, who rushed for 78 yards and one score. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

The victory got Clinton back to even at 2-2. As for Chapman, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will welcome Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christ Church Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
