Volleyball Recap: Triplains' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Triplains lost against Greeley County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackrabbits. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10.

Greeley County was led to victory by Addy Kennedy and Hailey Nolan. Kennedy had five digs and four aces, while Nolan had six aces and five digs. With that strong performance, Nolan is now averaging an impressive 2.2 aces per game. Charlize Shafer also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Triplains fell to 0-1-2. As for Greeley County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Triplains has already played their next game, a 0-0 tie against Weskan on the 16th. As for Greeley County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Syracuse on the 15th.
