Soccer Game Preview: Alliance Bloomfield vs. ESAT

The Alliance Bloomfield Bulls will face off against the ESAT Grizzlies at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Alliance Bloomfield is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Alliance Bloomfield after they put the first points on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Hawkins by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1085th, while the Hawks are ranked 337th).

Alexander Rodriguez wasn't going to let Hawkins walk away unscathed as he scored both of Alliance Bloomfield's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, ESAT's and East College Prep's contest back in December of 2024 was close at halftime, but ESAT turned on the heat in the second half with six goals. Everything went ESAT's way against East College Prep as ESAT made off with a 9-3 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Grizzlies needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Alliance Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for ESAT, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
