Soccer Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Carroll of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Carroll will face off against Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carroll will be up against Greene County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.75 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Coon Rapids-Bayard on the 7th.
