D.H. Conley lost to New Bern back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The D.H. Conley Vikings blew past the New Bern Bears, posting a 68-36 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

Britni Silver was her usual excellent self, going 7 for 13 from beyond the arc on her way to 35 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Charlazha Wilson, who went 7 of 14 en route to 20 points along with five boards and four steals.

D.H. Conley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for New Bern, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. D.H. Conley will venture away from home to square off against Perquimans at 1:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for New Bern, they will head out to challenge Havelock at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
