Basketball Recap: Agua Dulce Skates Past John Paul II with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Agua Dulce). They blew past the John Paul II Centurions, posting an 81-26 win. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Agua Dulce pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for John Paul II, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Agua Dulce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-30 win against Pettus on the 12th. As for John Paul II, they will be home for the holidays to greet Incarnate Word Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
