Volleyball Recap: Salem Hills Comes Up Short

Salem Hills and Spanish Fork squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Salem Hills had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons. The Skyhawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 25-18, 25-12.

Kate Keisel paced Salem Hills' offense, picking up 14 kills. Keisel got some help from Evee Schaerrer and her 30 assists. Keisel also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brielle Hofheins, each putting up three.

Salem Hills' record now sits at 6-23. As for Spanish Fork, they moved to 19-10 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Salem Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spanish Fork, they will take on West Jordan at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
