Ryan proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Grapevine Mustangs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in February, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-9. As for Grapevine, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coming up, Ryan will host Colleyville Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colleyville Heritage's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grapevine, they are taking a road trip to square off against Birdville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grapevine will be up against Birdville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.63 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
