Basketball Recap: Renville County West Comes Up Short

Renville County West lost against Minneota back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Renville County West Jaguars took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minneota Vikings.

Renville County West has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Minneota, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jaguars duke it out with the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minneota, they will welcome Canby at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Minneota knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Canby likes a good challenge.
