Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Duncanville

Duncanville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Lancaster Tigers.

Braylon Hubbard was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Alejandro Layton also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Duncanville's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Lancaster, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Duncanville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lancaster: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
