Softball Recap: Tualatin Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Tualatin barely beat Lakeridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves blew past the Pacers 13-4 on Wednesday. Considering the Timberwolves have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tualatin's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Lakeridge, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tualatin is set to take on their familiar foe West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Timberwolves 2.9, the Lions 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lakeridge will challenge rival Lake Oswego at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
