Volleyball Recap: Riverside Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Riverside lost to South Aiken back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Thoroughbreds by a score of 2-0.

While Riverside won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20.

Riverside pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for South Aiken, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-9.

Coincidentally, Riverside and South Aiken will both be playing Bluffton the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Bobcats at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Thoroughbreds will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
